Question: Dexter. How did I miss this show?

Well into season 7. Aside from the awesome inclusion of Yvonne Strahovski drool0 I see what you guys meant about quitting while they were ahead. I'm invested now though, only less than 1.5 seasons left to watch, so I have to stick it out. It reminds of the show "Heroes" in the sense that it started off so strong, and then the writers collectively ran out of ideas or just lost their minds. Such a shame. I will say that I thought the Ukrainian Mob Boss was semi-compelling. The whole thing the sister though... WTF!

I still think season 7 was great. Maybe I lost some blood from my head while watching it because of Yvonne, so I may not have been at full brain power to see if it was good or not. :grin:

I agree that the first couple of seasons were fantastic, and the rest weren't quite up to the beginning. But even then, it was a good show. Less than great was still good, imo.

I didn't mind the ending :embarrassed: And yes, Yvonne Strahovski is :love:, though my favorite on the show was Dexter's sister :love:

Yeah, the mob guy was cool. If you think the sister thing gets weird, wait until the last season. It gets weirder.

Heroes is indeed a good comparison. The final season is so off the rails compared to the first couple I can't believe it's even the same show.
 
No mention of Lila? The pyro in season 2? :love:

I lived for this show but was disappointed in the final seasons.
 
It wore thin quickly for me. I set it aside for about a year and then came back to it and had the same reaction, so I bailed.
 
I gave up after a few episodes of season 6. The concept just got tired. It was like an old sitcom without a laugh track.
