2018 Fender Ritchie Blackmore Stratocaster - Olympic White, (front), (back), (headstock), (acc. Plek tag), (gigbag). “As new” condition. One very important upgrade here - a Plek job and bone nut done by Sweetwater when it was new out of the box. Plek is a computer-guided process that scans, levels, and dresses your guitar's frets to a microscopic level of accuracy for the lowest possible action. This means no loss of sustain, minimized fret buzz, and no fretting out when bending strings and complete consistency anywhere on the neck. Combined with installation of a Bone nut the job costs $259. The Strat is based on Ritchie's iconic '70s Strat which features a distinctive scalloped fingerboard, '70s-style "F" tuners, and Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound Flat SSL-4 single-coil pickups, along with a "dummy" middle pickup. It also has the vintage-style 3-bolt maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, large headstock with bullet truss rod adjustment, and flush-mounted straplocks on the Ritchie Blackmore Stratocaster. With larger pole pieces these SSL-4 pickups have around twice the output of normal single coils. They're controlled by a 3-way switch to select either, or both and with the neck pickup wound RW/RP it's essentially a humbucker in the middle position. Other features include 7.25" radius, 21 vintage frets, alder body with Olympic White finish, vintage style synchronized tremolo and flush mounted Dunlop strap locks. The difference a Plek job cannot be overstated. It transforms a guitar that plays good into a guitar that plays phenomenal…like this one. Original price with the Plek job and nut was $1484 but get this one for just $999. This guitar is in mint condition and has the original double-box from Sweetwater.

I'd love to play it. I'm curious what it sounds like. I love Strats. If I needed another, I'd pay a grand for it.

I think it's beautiful. Is it made it California? If it is then yes I'd pay a grand. If not, then I'd pass. Nice looking though.

Price seems reasonable, but not a Strat I would want. Double hotness pickups and no middle pickup are not things I am interested in.

But then what do I know? I like the Jaguar Strat:

There was a Ritchie Blackmore Stratocater very briefly available that only had a neck and bridge PU- no middle pickup. I think in the early 2000s.

Sorta, but I prefer more trad wiring and pickups, and if the board is scalloped, no thanks.
Yea, I guess, if you're into that.
