I think it is a perfect analogy in this thread. Yes, the Eagles and their music always stick around, worm their way into your brain, and have done very well. But most of the time, someone is just going to talk over the song, or change the channel.

this thread is filled with metaphors. It's kind of lifting my spirits. Just when the thread was falling apart, it all came back together again, grew wings and flew away.
