...who do you support? I support NUFC...that's Newcastle United Football Club...

whatsay you?...

I like Chelsea to do well. They're kind of a link team to my own.

I also like Man U to do wel because Fergie is from Glasgow though I won't give a fcuk about them when he retires.

My loyalties are for sale to the highest bidder.....:embarrassed:

But seriously - without a good cable package it is impossible to keep up with Premier League stuff around here and we don't have a cable package at home....

I root for the Magpies as well. I'm completely sure this is the first thing we have ever agreed on.

Fwiw it's all on pay channels here as well - either that or finding shit streams online. :embarrassed:

I have a soft spot for Arsenal, since they are owned by the same guy that owns the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche and (I think) the Colorado Rapids.

None but for some reason I have kind of started to enjoy watching some of the Euro matches going on. May start watching some more. I did watch a lot of the World Cup a few years back.

I'd say the Premier League (and obviously Champions League) is the closest thing entertainment wise to the Euro and World Cup. Especially the last few years as it has become a lot less predictable than before, not to mention a lot of the world's best players play in the PL. Well worth watching imo.
A reason why I can't be bothered to watch Norwegian football anymore, it's just unbelievably dull in comparison (this also applies to the MLS).

Odd how many Newcastle fans in here btw.

Yeah I was thinking that myself.

Hate them myself personally. Hell is Newcastle city centre on a matchday afternoon. They give Rangers and Celtic fans a run for their money in the troglodyte olympics.

They seem like the Oakland Raiders of the EPL. I like that.

Joey Barton would punch us in our faces though, most likely.

...theres always a first...

...I am a bit on an Anglophile, so I take an interest in many things "English". Newcastle just happens to be a city that Ive enjoyed reading about. The climate is one of my all time favorite climates (Oceanic), and since Newcastle Brown was the first ale I ever had, Ive always had a soft spot for it and Newcastle. A few years ago, I took to staying up all night. And my local Comcast Sportsnet channel would air the UK matches. The Magpies always struck me as a Bad News Bears kind of team...I like. Whether its true or not is another story...
