Favourite song from 'Rumours'?

Strong argument for that from a guitar player standpoint. I tried to play that for 20+ years until I found out it was alternately tuned and capoed.

Acoustic Guitar magazine featured this song years ago. I still have the tab. I'll dig it up and scan a copy for you, if you want.

Then you were in the distinct minority of popular music consumers.
I suffered from Fleetwood Mac overload, probably because the woman who would become my second Ex was overly fanatical and played them endlessly. We went to see then in concert and I was not able to really enjoy it.

After the passage of time, I can now listen to them without cringing, but I don't seek them out.

This is how I feel about Nirvana and 90's music in general.

I had a girlfriend at one point that was really into them and despite having grown up listening to them and always being a fan, she soured them for me. Within a year or so I realized that I was being completely obtuse and that my positive associations with the music vastly outweighed her "breaking my heart". On a side note, meeting my wife made me realize that my perception of "love" was totally fucked, as I never felt about anyone the way I feel about my wife.

As such, I'm never going back again as I hold on to my wife who's got me over my head with the world turning around her warm ways 'cause it's big love...and our love shines.

You let a woman blind you to the fact that Rumors is one of the best recorded rock albums of all time. cop0

You saw them in the late seventies, or one of their senior moment tours?
You saw them in the late seventies, or one of their senior moment tours?

You mean coked out of their heads or when they had their heads on straight?

The reunion album and tour, The Dance, had them sounding better than they ever had live (w/ the help of some backing musicians to fill in a bunch of the studio layers). But that was 20 years ago...I've not heard anything about the most recent tour with Christine back in the fold.

The clips of the them live from the '70s show them hyper-amped, even when playing a mellower tune. Cocaine is a hell of drug...from everything I understand.
