Yeah, great race! Max should have gotten the points for the second offense. That was more dangerous.

Yeah, great race. They really need to change the red flag rules. No one can touch the car during a red flag.

Well, now that the season is over I will sum up my thoughts for the season.
At the start I thought it was going to be another year of domination by Max and Red Bull when they one the first races the way they did, but when McLaren hit the nail on the head with their update package, it really made for an exciting season. 7 different winners, and several multiple race winners made each race weekend a very unpredictable event. Also I noticed that while in the past if you qualified well, you would get a similar result, that wasn't the case this year. Sometimes if a car qualified well, it suffered during long stints in the race, allowing the cars behind to catch, and sometimes pass for position, and even lead changes. So many races came down to the last lap too. Some races were wheel to wheel battles on the track, while others were more of a chess match of getting the strategy right, especially as unexpected events and conditions unfolded during the race. This season reminds me so much of the 2012 season, and it's the most exciting one I have seen since then.
It seemed after the initial flyaway races that it depended on the track and the weather conditions as to which team could find the right setup that would maximize performance, and Red Bull seemed unable to find the right setup that would work for their car during the summer races in Europe, but after that second break in October, they seemed to get their mojo back for a while. McLaren found a package that was fast and competitive almost everywhere, while Ferrari and Mercedes were exceptionally quick if the conditions were right.
The formula has reached convergence, as shown by the qualifying times this year. The separation from 1st to last was often well under 1 second. Also the package allows the cars to follow behind and really race each other on tracks that have long straights with heavy breaking zones. It is finally delivering on what was promised all those years ago when the FIA technical group came up with this formula. We have one more year with it, so hopefully things will be close again, but I have a feeling that most teams will abandon development after the 1st half of the season to put resources towards the new formula in 2026, just like what happened in 2013 when Red Bull one the last 13 races in a row. TBH I wish they would quite messing around with the rules. If they kept this formula for a few more years, there would be a lot more great racing to be had.
In all, it was a terrific season. I was entertained throughout the year, and most of the races were full of surprises. Hopefully next year is even better than this one.

Riding Solo
Yeah in general it was a great season and while I'm not entirely thrilled that Max won again, this year it seems much more on merit rather than being the driver of the best car. His performance in Brazil was nothing short of incredible. I was quite entertained as well and am very hopeful that next year is even more competitive.

The cars are certainly better at following than the previous generation, but they still need DRS. It would be great if they didn't need it, but at the least they should use a push-to-pass system like IndyCar. It's a far superior artificial passing aid.
The best part of the season for me was McLaren winning the Constructors' Championship. Lando should have given Max a run for his money but he made way too many mistakes. He could win the WDC next year if McLaren is still strong and he pulls his head out of his ass.
