Indeed. That was a stupid attempt at what is my favorite race of the year. Two laps behind the safety car and done.
 
I can't even describe how disappointed I was about that race. I always look forward to Spa as it is my favorite track on the Formula 1 calendar.
 
I am very excited to see the race in this year. "Lance Stroll" is one of my favorite racing driver.
 
Looks like:

Russell --> Mercedes
Bottas --> Alfa Romeo
Raikkonen --> retiring (back to rallying?)
Giovinazzi --> fired, LM Hypercar
de Vries --> Alfa Romeo
Albon --> Williams
 
Well, at least we get to see a new track this weekend. It will be interesting to see if one can actually pass on it, or if we are going to be subjected to more coasting and tire strategy based wins.

Wow, an actual exciting race in Sochi! I feel bad for Norris; McLaren totally blew that call. Great drive by Max to recover from a potential disaster, and congrats to Lewis for win 100!
 
If the rain had held off another 5 minutes, Norris would have won. McLaren should have been more insistent. They had the radar data, their driver did not. That said, for them to be fighting at the sharp end of the grid two weeks in a row on merit is very encouraging.

i watched the last 50 or so laps. Hamilton could not be caught unless he blew the engine. :bigg:

but Sergio Perez did an incredible job of getting on the podium!!

I don't think anything will come of it. They released more footage showing the steering wheel, and Max was clearly steering into the corner the whole time. The front just washed out and he had understeer that pushed both of the wide on the exit of the corner. Racing incident.

FIA says a decision will come tomorrow at the earliest.
