i'm not buying, but fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Further, could you tell a difference that stemmed from the fretboard?
I can't. To me, mine sounds like the bridge pup of a Les Paul Special. ???

GC let me use a $100 off coupon on mine. To get that one for $750 would be a pretty sweet deal.

when i didn't know shit in 1992, i could have bought one for $400. didn't. by the time i had the money, it was gone. oh well. not in the cards right now either. which is actually a good thing. anything i wanted in an SG has likely been replaced by my modded telecaster. which i paid $400 for in 2006. :embarrassed:

The one I saw was the LP Jr singlecut in pelham blue.

There were a few minor flaws in the finish, but not bad. If not for the fretboard, I'd probably trade my Jr for one. It was pretty nice but the fingerboard didn't pass even a minor fingernail test. It left a mark. The wood is not very smooth and it looks like someone ripped up a pallet, dyed it black and threw it on there. I saw tiny knot holes in it. No way.

Other than that, totally would.

Amongst our weaponry are such diverse elements as: fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, an almost fanatical devotion to Gibson, and nice red SGs - Oh damn!
