where can I get one of these?
actually, I have a LOT of dvds.
I should probably get two

instantsteve: "Thank you" "so much" "for your quick recognition" "that all I post here" "using excessive quotation marks" "is indeed a classic sign" "of my SELF-IMPORTANCE"! "Self-aggrandizement is my Birthright!" "HOWEVER" "I think it's rather pathetic" "for you to project" "your overwhelming problem of impotence" "onto me"! "There are many online sites" "that sell little blue pills" "that may (and I emphasize "MAY")" "solve your problem" "of psychological projectionism" "due to your inherent" "FEELINGS of Freudian FEAR OF and INFERIORITY TO OTHERS WHO POST HERE!" "Namely, MOI!" "IMPUDENT?" "YES! I DEFINITELY AM!" "IMPOTENT?" "NOT A CHANCE!" Don't try to put me in the same lame league as you!"

Peeker: I still haven't received the 50 cents! If "fitting in" requires my conformation into your clueless and useless life, I opt to "FIT OUT!" My project for you this day is to figure out just how many 50 cent pieces it would take to purchase my Lonnie Mack Flying V on today's Vintage Guitar Collectors Market? I don't think ya can handle it!!

Boy, I hope this joker is stocked up in his blood pressure meds.

Wait...

Is he an alt/April Fools Joke?

Google got a jump start. I wonder if Baimun can provide an alibi for yesterday...

View attachment 3016So now it's Spring, 2012 and I just got on this board. How did you, "dodgechargerfan" ascertain that your "LM Flying V" is "number 39" of the 188 made? I own one myself and nowhere is there any indication of what number it is in this short-lived custom shop series! From the serial on the back of the peghead, I can accurately date it and tell which number Gibson guitar it was coming off the assembly line that day in February 1994. Also, I couldn't DISAGREE MORE with the "Modern Saint" post above: My "LM Flying V" is fat, rich, ringing with harmonics and sustain plus the Bigsby holds perfect tune even with an aggressive workout! Anyway onto the "Bigsby debate." While I agree that Bigsbys don't have the "travel range" of most other popular vibratos, remember that these Gibson USA instruments were produced with the goal to replicate as exactly as possible, the personal highly modified Flying V belonging to Lonnie Mack himself. That said and not wanting to destroy the collector's value of mine (approx $5000.00 in early 2012), I recently purchased on eBay a new Epiphone "1958 Korina Flying V Reissue" in Alpine White (made in China, but surprisingly made VERY WELL!) with Epiphone Flying V form-fit hard case for just under $470.00 total shipped! I can't stand "hard tail" guitars, so with this Epi V, I am adding a "Stetsbar" gold vibrato while keeping the classic look of the "upside-down gold strings-thru guide plate" and replacing the original pickups with Seymour Duncan "Pearly Gates" humbuckers, double-white with gold poles. I don't mind "buggering-up" this Epi V because at 63 years of age now, I won't ever live long enough to see this guitar become a "high-priced collector's item" like my "LM Flying V!" I also just purchased a new Fernandes "Vortex Elite Flying V Sustainer" in Snow White with hard case at a very friendly LOW-price! Now I've got the whole "Flying V Spectrum" covered from classic '60's rock 'n blues to the latest thrash-metal grind-core! LOL!

So, you want to buy it then?
I could try to find out if it's still for sale.

Wait. Watt?

Fifty cents sounds about right.

Has to be an alt-prank. The odds of such a big giant gaping A-hole falling out of the sky so close to fool's day has to be pretty high.

IMO that V is drop dead sexy!!!! I love to look at V's,and see other people play them. I dislike how Neck Heavy they are
