A Deadwood movie was put out. Trying to remember if that summed up everything. Anyway, same people were in it.

The tv series ended abruptly in the middle of unresolved storylines (time period 1877). The Deadwood movie was set 12 years after that time period (1889). It resolved some of the unfinished storylines from the tv series.
