One of my best buds played my Suhr at a gig yesterday (first time ever playing one) and now he has the bug. Sent me a pic of a Strat style local to his house.

This is the same friend who told me my Suhr wasn’t a Tele but a “Tele shaped thing”… but then he played it.

Not a Suhr, but I finally soldered my pup swap on my Squier Tele Deluxe on Father’s Day. I had an old set of hand wired BG Buckers sitting around gathering dust, so I used them.

I’m worse than ever before at soldering. Perhaps, it’s partly due to cataracts affecting my vision, but I had to attempt it 3 times before it finally worked.

No - I sold both Suhrs about 10 years ago. They were both from the Buzz Feiten era and I didn't want to pay for a refret on the classic and have to still deal with the offsets. I've only ever had DSV's in my guitars (the Suhr classic, both McFeeleys and my 2015 American Standard). I do have an SSV neck pickup lying around which might have been in the McFeely when it was four pickups. I can't remember.
