Question: Has it ever occurred to anyone else that Stevie Nicks'...

OGG

Master of the Meh
First solo hit single after dumping Lindsey and leaving Fleetwood Mac was built entirely around a non-stop guitar part that is 100% all about using a pick?

Do you think it was a dig at Lindsey?

You have to imagine him hearing it for the first time and thinking "oh what the fuck!?"

Dunno. I do remember Waddy Wachtel saying in an interview that he didn't use a delay or double "Edge of Seventeen."

Lindsey Buckingham is a monster player in his own right though, just jaw dropping.

And if you listen to the track, it's very clear the guitar is doubled. He may not have done it himself, but it's there.

Lindsey is in fact a monster player. No doubt.

I just can't help but think that song was a not so subtle "fuck you" from Stevie.

And yeah, Wally ain't no slouch either.

Lebron is in San Diego this weekend getting hitched.

The club in "The Bird Cage" would play a lot of Stevie tunes.

You see, it's sort of a play on the "because you listen to coldplay" joke, but in reverse.
