Watching the videos, this is a bright spot in dark times. I don't think I've ever seen a band having so much fun on stage. Anika is just killing it. I think I read Geddy took vocal lessons to make sure he could come close to the notes. In a Guitar World interview it hit me how much Alex and Geddy are just good friends. They'd still get together every couple of weeks for a coffee, dinner and chat.
Geddy's bass tone is just killer. Alex's rhythm tone is good. I've never really liked his live lead tone. It has that weird sound I noticed on Page's Celebration Day lead tones.
That aside, I do wish I had good tickets to see this. I will buy the inevitable DVD they release.
