Have we discussed the new Def Leppard album yet?

Not much here for me to argue against—just a couple big fat fucking riffs played over with some deep loud drum hits. But it sounds as much like Mutt Lange’s rock mixes for Shania as it does like Def Leppard. Which brings me to a killer idea: Def Leppard and Shania should collaborate on a self-produced record. Two discs—one rock disc, one white trash, I mean Nashville country, disc. It would sell ten million copies and nobody would admit to buying it.

A:
Yes, we have. Here is a photo of the discussion:

Listened to a few songs. Sounds like Def Leppard.

If somebody likes pop metal they'll probably dig this.

Not really my thing, but I've always liked Viv's playing.

It was very "AC/DC-like" in that it sounds like everything else they've ever put out. That's great for people who like them and haven't grown tired of them.

I feel no need to hear any more of it.

Sounds like Def Leppard. Kinda liked the "Welcome to the carnival" part. The rest is trying too hard to be sing-along and not really hitting the mark.
The best thing they've ever done is still "Photograph."

I'm also a fan of Bringin' on the Heartbreak and Too Late for Love.

Really, the whole Pyromania album is about as good as it gets for Def Lep.

Was reading and article where Vivian Campbell was all pumped up about this gig with the Dio Holy Diver band. Of course that was before the bass player died.

I listened to them when their first album came out, and then the second. They were about my age and I thought that was cool.
Pyromania killed it for me and I haven't listened to them since.
