How often do you use paper or coin currency?

Wife always has cash, loves it. Me, not so much. I usually have a couple of bucks, but the only place I ever need to use it is with te food truck at work.

I use cash all of the time. For normal expenditures, I do tend to use Visa but I always have cash with me. I never use debit. I hate the entire debit concept and when someone is paying for a $3 order at a drive through I feel like smacking them in the side of the head.

since they don't take card for lottery tickets, i use paper 5 days of the week. a buck for a ticket. i also TRY to keep around ten bucks in my wallet, just cuz there are places with card minimums and also places i don't feel comfortable giving them my card. i NEVER use the card in the drive thru....if i don't have enough $$ for the drive thru....i go inside. i don't hand my card to folks thru a window where they have to go almost out of my sight to swipe it. no thanks.....i like being the only one using my bank account.

I used to only use cash but lately I keep some cash in my pocket but rely on my debit card. All bills are paid online except my monthly parking which I write a check for.

Some of the local mom and pops don't like to take cards at all because the service charge is too high. Lots of places have a $10 card mimimum.

still use paper money and coin as little as I can.

I hate waiting for change, especially since my car is so much lower than the drive thru window. :helper:

Daily. Thirty-plus years of working with the monkeys that develop software for electronic money shenanigans tells me that it the only sensible way to go.

I can't stand people who use cards with pins. Slows everything down. Contactless cards on the other hand are awesome. Can't wait till that is built into everyone's phone.

I would rather NOT use it, but at least in the good ol' USA, it ain't going away anytime soon. People simply like their money too much.

It's amazing to see just how many people will wait in line at 10:30 at night on a Wednesday just to use an ATM. I guess that's good for me, though, else I'd need another line of work.

Unless I buy it on the net, I pay cash for everything. I normally carry a grand on me all the time just in case I stumble across a deal.

Coins mostly for parking or the dreaded snack machine(s)
Notes only if a by lunch.
Everything else i always do via card.

only for the coffee/snack machine and sometimes in the shop. Oh, and when I am going for a haircut, since none of them take card payments.

I use cash about every one or two weeks, but I still hate being without it. When paying for drinks at a bar or concert venue, cash is still the quickest way to go.

Exactly. That's what drives me nuts when people pay by card then you have to wait for them to put in their pin and the stupid machine takes ages to connect. The whole time the vacant staring bar staff just stand there waiting. :gah:
