I’ve been toying with the idea of a second Tonex, and was “this far” away from getting a Tonex One, likely one of the brown sound limited editions.
I’m glad I stalled on that decision.

It’s a pre-order so I haven’t got it yet.

They just refunded my money and cancelled the order saying that they don’t ship to Canada.

I could provide a U.S. address and have it forwarded, but they didn’t even give me a chance.
And now they’re all sold out.

The units were in Toronto for signing. I could have picked it up for crying out loud!
I know that wouldn’t work but knowing they were an hour’s drive away and now I can’t even get one pisses me off.

I sent the seller a note, but I fear that the units are all sold out.

Well, they’ve fixed that now.
Anything that he releases through his association with MojoTone will now be available through an official Canadian distributor, Solo Guitars.
They’re kinda like a Canookian StewMac with a lean more towards parts than tools.

I do wonder if they’ll get the Limited Edition, autographed stuff. Those usually go up on the Lerxst Reverb shop.

In my emails trying to sort it out, I offered to go to Alex’s house and pick it up.
Or meet him at my regional airport to which he flies his plane in for Niagara visits.



None of that happened, but it did trigger the change in shipping rules.
