Yeah - it's actually really good although I've never put it into a preset. I tried a version of my main preset with a Twin for the cleans and the Atomica for my heavier crunch last night and immediately went back to my normal working preset with the '59 bassman, JCM 800, Silver Jubilee and Tucana Lead. I gues I shouldn't mess with what works.

I love the Silver Jubilee.

The whole reason I tried it was you talking about the one you had. Out of all the Marshall's I've tried on there, that and the Plexi 50w Jumped are my favorites.
 
I honestly think that Fractal does Marshall and Fender amps the best out of everything I’ve tried. The Vox-type stuff never seems to stick with me, though.

The AC-20 12ax7 Treble is my main amp in it. I just switched the cab to 2x12 Class-A Tom's Mix Left and it nails the slightly overdriven Vox sound. You had a Vox sound very early with your FM3 that I loved.

I need to find that early preset and try it again. I can’t seem to make it sound good anymore. I do like the MAZ38 although I usually use two of them at the same time going through one cabinet in my country preset.
 
3 months in and still really loving this thing. We had some snow today so I worked from home and decided to see if I could make the headrush work for me. After some googling, I tried dropping the 125Hz on the output EQ and bam, the boominess was gone. I ended up just copying a few of my favorite presets and dropped it on all the amps and then added (HR) to the end of the name. So I'll probably just leave the headrush at my neighbors for jamming over there.

Y'know, the easiest way to get the boominess out is to just get it of the floor. I put my Headrush 108 on an amp stand, and it totally did the trick.

Mine has been in a stand since the second I bought it. It’s never been on the floor.

I've been playing with my ToneX a lot because it's a new toy but the reality is that my FM9 is the most usable device I've ever had onstage and it just gets the sounds that I hear in my head. At this point I can't imagine not using it for the vast majority of my gigs.

I think the biggest thing that has surprised me is how easy it is to get good tones. When I first opened the editor and saw all of the side tabs on the amps, I thought I was going to be tweaking for hours to get what I wanted. I like that it was super easy to get a good sound.
 
I just got the firmware 6 beta for the FM9 last night. I only had a few minutes to mess with it but it already sounds awesome. The gapless switching was my main attraction but most of the amp models that I use have gotten updates which is a little bit of a hassle because everything sounds different but it's already more realistic (again). I can't wait to really dig into it.

I usually don't install betas anymore but most of this was already worked on on the AXEIII and I don't have a gig where I ABSOLUTELY need to use this for another couple of weeks. The two I have coming up before then I can use the Helix or the ToneX for with no problems.
