A friend (El Borrachito's wife, actually) was able to get me invited to a Zoom hang sponsored by BMG and Primary Wave to listen to the new Counting Crows album and participate in a Q&A session. I usually don't care about stuff like this and hate meeting celebrities and especially by favorite artists but Adam Duritz has been a hero of mine for over 25 years at this point. He even spent about 10 minutes answering my question about lyric writing.

I can only imagine how that felt. I was thrilled to attend a Donovan concert a couple of years ago; I can only imagime being able to talk to him about songwriting. Congratulations on a wonderful experience. I am not the biggest fan, but love a number of their songs.
