Only if the person on the other side pays for it. And if it keeps out all of the sunshine that will rape, rob and murder my grass.
How white trash is this? The white bits are old paint from the patio that the painters how pressure washed off. My lawn hasn't been watered or mowed in 3-4 weeks and this view isn't the direction of the REAL pile of junk. By next week I can start cleaning up and moving back into the house and then I'm allowed to water again.
I drove home through a downpour about 15 miles west of here. I hope it's coming here. It might slip north over the lake or south above the escarpment, though.
It is a pain in the ass. They usually do no harm because most everyone buttons things up at night. So they just waste their time.
They did get into my car once. I don't know if they got anything, but everything was yanked out of the console and glove box. They didn't even steal any of my CDs...
I'm going to be more diligent with checking the surveillance feeds and calling the cops.
Why one of them tried the back door of my garage, I stopped having any sympathy.
I'm pretty sure that they come into the neighbourhood to score at one house in particular. They find they need some more cash. So, they jiggle door handles to see what they can get.

Drought is different in different areas. There hasn't been measurable rain here since April. But that's normal. What isn't normal is the winter rainfall for the last 5 years. I'm surprised Orange County changed their rules. So Cal got even less rain then Nor Cal this year...then again I guess that's why they changed the rules cop0

The same system that dumped on Lousiana is headed here. They're calling it severe, but not likely as bad as LA got it.
The hard, dry ground is going to keep most of the water on top and flowing rather than soaking in.

We have had a decent amount of rain this year so my grass looks ok. Not great, but the landlord is too cheap to have the lawn aerated and overseeded which it desperately needs to happen. A least the aeration part. If I stay here more than a year (not the plan now - but plans change) I am going to heavily recommended she aerate next year. It's only about $40.00 - $50.00 for the whole property (and maybe less.).
