Sounds familiar to me. Our back yard is mostly dead except for a patch near the wall that gets some shade

Are you saying walls are good?

Only if the person on the other side pays for it. And if it keeps out all of the sunshine that will rape, rob and murder my grass. Are you saying walls are good?
I drove home through a downpour about 15 miles west of here. I hope it's coming here. It might slip north over the lake or south above the escarpment, though.Sounds familiar to me. Our back yard is mostly dead except for a patch near the wall that gets some shade

Asshole.
Touch wood there's not been any reports of it close by for a while but the local community facebook page is about 70% lost dog reports 5% lost / found phones and 25% some asshole tried my door / car / shed last night posts.
We got some rain early yesterday morning and my wife did water it a bit a couple of days ago.
It still looks like that.
I'd rather it just stay dormant until the weather changes enough to allow it come back as much as possible.
Our back yard is a bit better in spots because of a bit more shade it gets in the afternoon and the splashes of water it gets from the pool, but we have spots that have completely died out and is just bare dirt.
Can't have brown lawns now, can we? It would scare away the tourists.Rain??? what's that
Drought is different in different areas. There hasn't been measurable rain here since April. But that's normal. What isn't normal is the winter rainfall for the last 5 years. I'm surprised Orange County changed their rules. So Cal got even less rain then Nor Cal this year...then again I guess that's why they changed the rules cop0
Orange county must be getting water from trumpco water inc. Can't have brown lawns now, can we? It would scare away the tourists.
