What’s that chair you’re using? I need new office chairs and I want something that looks good with no arm rests.

I just made sure that my arm rests were removable... and (oddly enough) I only ended up removing the right arm to allow the guitar to sit back. My left arm is out with the neck, but when I'm looking for song lyrics or such, I'll often rest on that left arm rest.

Once I have the song I want or have it figured out, I do ALL of my live practicing while standing. Eventually I need to put a sit stand desk with high barstools in my studio so sitting or standing is the same height.

I just bought a comfortable office chair at Office Depot and didn't put the arms on when I assembled it.
