Are you using internet explorer 10? The editor has a bug that I'm waiting for vBulletin to fix with IE10. It works for every other browser properly though.

its a big issue for vBulletin and they are dragging their feet on it. Too busy working on their version of Jive/Lithium (vBulletin 5) to take care of the folks who have the last working incarnation of their software.
