do you think you'd still have grounds to demand a refund? I still have the receipt and everything but to be fair it did say on the website that the metal paint on the dumbbells could "flake off and easily slice through your butt cheeks". But who reads those things anyways. Now my luscious butt cheeks have been shred to ribbons and I'm out forty bucks.

I thought getting "shredded" was the point of weights...

"Shredding means losing body fat while keeping as much muscle as possible, unlike general weight loss which can burn away both fat and muscle. [1]

Core Principles
  • Calorie Deficit: Eat 500 to 700 calories below your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) to lose about 0.5% to 1% of your body weight per week. [1, 2]
High Protein Intake: Consume about 1.6 to 2.4 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight (or roughly 1 gram per pound) to protect your muscles. [1, 2]

Resistance Training: Lift weights 3 to 5 times per week using compound exercises (like squats, deadlifts, and bench presses) to signal your body to keep muscle. [1, 2]
