A friend of mine had a relative with a doggy who needed a home, and I have been wanting a doggo for a while now. I have always wanted a golden retriever so I jumped at the chance. He is staying with my friend until I get back in town. I can’t wait!!! His name is Rufus Barkley.

Congrats Smurfco. Make sure you keep everything above dog reach. My dogs chewed up everything when they were pups.

I just read an article about a place which just opened that is a place to play with golden retrievers...like a dog play tourist attraction.

And if I would have realized how easy it is for people (girls) to come up and talk to you when you have an adorable puppy back when I was single and in college.... I would have started a damned dog walking service for a puppy breeder.
