Just bought a Squier Mustang, it kinda sucks.

Bought a Squier Mustang from MF since they were on sale, I think it was $130... wasn't expecting much. Overall it's not a bad first guitar but since this is about my 20th guitar I was kinda meh. Feels like a toy, neck feels like lightly sanded plywood, frets are rough, hardware is obviously bargain-bin quality. I feel like it's a guitar I'll play a few times and either smash, paint, light on fire or sell to a nice neighborhood kid. 3/10

Thought about it, but at this price I may keep it to mod or see how much I can approve it. It's fine if I need humbuckers and don't want to take a nicer backup.

Frets can be leveled and dressed and the neck and be burnished, but it depends on how much money and time you want to sink into it that won't be reclaimed. Some things are just false bargains.
