It's basically just what the title says, I used to amuse myself by going on eBay (this would have been in the very early 2000s) and looking for wallpapers that had map patterns on them, i mean any old map like a world map, or kitcshy local town maps or whatever, and using the "ask seller a question" feature and asking "Will this map help me find my missing son?"

I can't have been the only one doing this exact thing! Who else remembers how much fun you'd have just waiting for their hilarious responses!?

Yes, but it backfired.
All of a sudden, I was in a frantic bidding war for my missing son.
I wasn't sure how the whole 'Ebay game' worked, so I lost him.
I still find myself teary eyed, wondering what became of the missing son I never had.
