I painted my garage door Oxford blue over the summer using some horrendous special garage door paint. If it sticks to clothes or brushes anything like the door, it'll outlast us.
We needed a couple of things done around the outside. Got a guy out that my sister has used and it turns out the rendering was absolutely f##ked. We knew bits needed patched but you could actually press against it and your finger would go right through it on the side of the building that gets the wind and rain.
£12.5k to patch it all up then coat the render, brickwork and roof. It did need done so I'm trying to level myself with it and the exterior will look great once it's done but still.
Also had some clown round to price up a few jobs. £3k for a concrete step and patch repair of some tarmac on the rear drive got someone else round who'd measured up over the summer then lost our number. £350 for a brickwork step and another 100 or so for the tarmac.
