Note to Self: SUbway still sucks.

Footlong Turkey on wheat with: lettuce, tomatoes, onions, EXTRA black olives, banana peppers, EXTRA jalapenos, and EXTRA honey mustard. No cheese or mayo saves a ton of unnecessary calories :thu:

I get my money's worth :embarrassed:

I always get a $5.00 sub there. they are not worth much more - but for $5.00 the foot longs loaded with veggies are a pretty good deal.

I haven't been in a long time. Last bunch of times, I was severely disappointed. D'angelos is 10x better. Don't know if any of you guys have that chain where you are.

When you're in the mood for a sloppy mess of processed meat and cheese deliciousness, the 6" Subway Melt on wheat isn't too bad :embarrassed:

I've got no problems with the way it tastes (the honey mustard is delish), but it's way overpriced here.

If it were cheaper, I'd eat there sometimes. As it stands, maybe once a year

I don't like the idea that you have to tell them every little fucking thing you want. Just give me that one *points to Subway super classic sub special #2 on the menu, goes and sits down and waits until it's ready*

I don't mind Subway. If you get a really bad sandwich from them, you really only have yourself to blame, since you tell them exactly what you want on it. :embarrassed:

Subway is awful. the amount of sodium in their meats is staggering.

my new job is in Jamaica Center. nothing there but major chain fast food. Wendy's, McDonald's, BK, KFC, Taco Bell/Pizza Hut, Subway/Dunkin Donuts, Golden Krust, etc. i did find a decent pizza place in a food court that also has ok falafel. but i will be bringing lunch as much as possible.

Sandwiches don't need sauce. And there's no reason to ever eat lettuce. Keeping those two truths in mind, I can get a decent sandwich from Subway the one or two times a year that I eat there.

The smell of Subway alone puts me off. A baker/sandwich shop is supposed to smell like freshly baked bread. I don't know what Subway passes for 'bread' but bread it ain't. It doesn't smell like bread, it doesn't have the consistency of bread and it certainly doesn't taste like bread. AWFUL, truly AWFUL

I have always wondered about that. They have what appears to be bread baking all the time. But no smell of bread. What is up with that?

Meh, not the best food ever, but sometimes it's nice when you just want a simple sandwich. I get the same thing every time and it's pretty hard to mess up. 6" Turkey and American on Wheat with Spinach and Light Mayo. It's really too simple to screw up.
