Remember that lost weekend with Van Halen in '84?

If you remember, you weren’t really there.
I remember that Autograph was the opening band.

I also remember there is/was a tunnel you took from the huge parking structure to Cobo Arena, and that the walls on either side of the tunnel were lined with hookers. No, really! Me and my friends were speculating on how many of them were undercover cops

And that’s when you blacked out. Right?

Well, that took a turn.
That was a fun video. it got a little dark at the end.
For no good reason really. That drama seems to be something that directors feel needs to be sprinkled into reality type films these days. "It could have been bad if he'd fallen down." Well, he didn't, so why are we talking about it. It would have been bad if he got electrocuted after being doused with champagne too, but that didn't happen either. I would have rather heard more about what went on backstage and what happened when he got home instead of that nonsense.

Still a cool look back in the past, in a "where are they now" sort of way.

It sounds like he did black out. I believe him when he said he shouldn't have been drinking. The coke off Diamond Dave's fingernail probably pulled him through. You're right though. We could have heard more backstage stuff. I'm assuming Dave and Eddie sent back some of those hookers Jbird was talking about. Give those kids the Hot For Teacher treatment.

Now I need to hear the double base drum shuffle.
