Here's an online class.
I can't decide whether to call this "pessimistic optimism" or "optimistic pessimism" so I decided to call the whole thing off...Probably not, but I can tell you that there’s always a worse one.
Haw! I will kill you with a brutal heavy metal riff!
So geezers need to stop?Make rock rock again!

I don't really see the similarity in their points.Wait...are Ethan Hein and @Peen Simmons the same person? Has anyone ever seen them both at the same place at the same time?
I honestly didn't put that much thought into it. Just trying to make a joke. Win some, lose some. In fact, he hasn't even come in on this thread.I don't really see the similarity in their points.
Explain.

In any case, I basically agree with Ethan. It is silly in this day and age.
Also, that Ethan guy is just flat out wrong to posit rock and/or roll as somehow anti-capitalist or involved in class struggle. It’s like he never read a book and totally missed the gag behind the Sex Pistols.

Ethan Hein is a music professor at NYU.Like any music prof or you got someone in mind?
I have never been a fan of guitar smashing, but what are the chances that ya'll would be talking about her right now if she hadn't done that? And if enough people click in to watch her smash a guitar maybe some folks will also listen to her music and become fans. All part of the business, and like it or not, music is now a business,
