They had some pretty cool stuff, but as I was perusing the items I noticed that practically nothing had any bids placed, so I felt kind of bad for them. So I bid on something, and got a call a couple hours later saying that I had won it. Once it arrives I will take a photo and share it here, but in the meanwhile I welcome your guesses!

Seems like a common strategy at silent auctions is to wait until the time is just about to expire, then get the final bid, rather than getting into a bidding war. But since you won on a single bid, I'm guessing it was not a highly desirable item.

I will say that they had some very nice and cool stuff in there, lots of signed memorabilia from the sports and entertainment worlds, and from legit stars (for example, big nicely framed photo of Larry Bird and Magic Johnson playing in the Finals, signed by both). I don't know how long it ran for but I think it was just the afternoon, but I felt bad because walking around I'd say 90% of the items in there didn't have any bids. And this was a really nice expensive restaurant (we were celebrating my sister's recent job success)
