Bob's voice sounds amazing though. As good as he's ever sounded.
 
The Cure are one of those bands I can hear a song from and really enjoy it but by the middle of the second song begin to get fidgety...
 
Robert Smith love to claim that he isn’t goth and then he releases this depressing little number.
 
I like a lot of their catalog. But, that song is boring.

When Page and Plant toured the first time around, they had Pearl Thompson of cure fame with them on guitar. They played a version of the Cure song Lullaby. The Zep songs were arranged much differently than the classic versions.

I was lucky enough to catch Page and Plant the next tour. They played the Zep songs much closer the classic versions that time around.

I never got a chance to see the Cure live. Not sure what kind of show they put on these days.

They’re 2.5–3 hours (Depending on venue curfew) of great stuff played and sung well. They’re pros with a huge catalog to draw on so they can put on a great concert. They also made tickets non-transferrable, cheap seats were $20, and when Smith found out how expensive the Ticketmaster fees were he made Ticketmaster give out partial refunds, which made him a live music folk hero.

I like the Cure, but this is very... just meh...

I guess they're having fun making music, but do they really have to make the general public listen to this?

Hands down the Cure for me. I'll get some nachos while they play this tune.

Let's be realistic, if Oasis manages to actually tour, they're gonna be the headline, cause I highly doubt any member of the Cure is willing to deal with the Gallagher hissy fits if they don't :embarrassed:
 
The Cure would headline. Oasis have a handful of great songs but the rest is filler. The Cure can play for three hours and it’s all great stuff.

I actually really dig it. It’s very sad though, so it aches to listen to it.

And does Robert Smith actually age at all? His voice hasn’t changed one bit
