Emerald green looks great on amps. So does wine red. Fender did a run of Hot Rod Deluxes is those colors a while back.

Update: this is nearing completion. I just decided on a wheat grill cloth. To
Go with the ALLL BABY BLUE Tolex. Do you remember “hot sperm in the sunlight”?

6V6 Tubes and the Reverb on the front?... They even put a heavy relic strat in the pic!

I just got pics from the builder... well here it is.

It’s a Winfield Cyclone. Based off of an early 60s Vox AC15. I opted for the Celestion Blue speaker. Winfield says that the tolex is bluer in person, the pics make it look more white.

Unfortunately I am heading to Atlanta for a couple weeks starting tomorrow, so I won’t be able to play it until later this month. He’s not going to ship it until I get back so it doesn’t sit in my package room. But I really can’t wait!

I hope it is as good as I am expecting. I have read that he is among the best when it comes to Vox style amps.

Same here, which is why I’ve almost jumped in a few times.

I never used to be a Vox amp fan.... but then I liked some Kemper Matchless profiles, and then played through some Matchless amps that I can't afford......



.... I think the issue is I just like the pricey ones, not the affordable ones.
