I have the box
I bought a cheap $21 Rise guitar for slide only. High action, didn’t care, open tuning and only for slide. Removed the high output ceramic pickup for a alnico 5 measuring 8k. Could not find/get the slide to sound not muddy. It would chug and individual notes with your fingers sounded ok. I had fun modding it. Top loader turned into string through. New bone nut. Old nut and new nut was a intonation mystery zone. Would dial it in, play it a bit and then it would drift. It had very small finish cracks near the neck and my guess is there was flex.

So looked for a new cheapy for the pick up and wiring harness. Found a $39 Rogue on Shopgoodwill. 2010, Paulownia body (the aluminum of hard woods LOL) maple neck, and in 2010 says it’s rosewood. I doubt it, but my fingernail won’t dent it and it’s dyed or stained very dark. Gutted it, put my other guts in. This stupid thing was intonated and the action was excellent. No fret buzzes. No shielding paint. Not plywood but can’t tell how many pieces it is. Ultra small trem bock. Looks like the one I replaced in an

a SX with a Squier standard block. That’s right, the Squier standard block was an upgrade. The SX block was smaller and hollowed out. I like it a lot. Cheers.
