happy b-day Gene.....comic genius.....i would LOVE to have been on the set with him and Mel.
As if Blazing Saddles weren't great enough on its own, it also served as a catalyst to bring Mel Brooks into a little project Wilder had started writing: Young Frankenstien which is, without a doubt, one of the greatest comedies ever.
