Newsflash! The 2015 Recordingfest Reveal!

Sonic: Totally dig the composition, really liked it, but I agree the video is disturbing...though I understand the generating strong emotion is an artistic aim

Smurfco totally sweet, vocals remind me of early Pink Floyd, definitely a good rockin early 70s vibe!

I keep going back and listening to the track that Aliensporebomb did, Man I really like that...We all need to do this more often!

All but micwalts show as u supported video for me. Weird.
On that note, well done micwalt!

Smurfco: Finally getting around to listening. Nice job, I like that tone you got going on. I would like the guitars a tad bit lower in the mix, but we're guitarists around here, so it's natural that we do that, like creeping the volume knob up all the time at practice.

Tapatalk yes and Java has to be turned off on this stupid phone otherwise I get porn pop ups. Stupid android .

Here I was thinking most everybody was here for the free hot dogs, but I just listened to all the tracks, and I have to say, I'm impressed. We got some players here in weiner land. I love to see all the output and the different styles represented.

Cheers fellas, and here's to more in 2016!

Chicken-Ham! Love my oink and squeek.....having some tonight. Nice job...
RSADASIV- Cool clean guit and solo...
Knox--U2'ish vibe . Great guit tones.
Gary-Like Dreamer. Nice lyric writing.....wish I had that talent
Mnewb- Reminded of Steve Winwood. Sweet.
Psycho- Rockin' baby!!!
Kerouac-Nice production. Just guit and voice laying it out there
MicWalt-More great acoustic sounds and vocals. Professional production!
I'm a Rock-Really enjoyed. Again nice acoustic tones. More great production
Alien- Love the progression and production.... Nice guitar work!
Sonic- Synthtastic!!!!!!
Smurf-Great job.....I like!

Psychotronic--I've heard a lot of Devo covers in my time, but this is one of the best--you're not putting on the geekiness, just embracing a great song.
Kerouac--I haven't heard the original, but I'm thinking this is probably a pretty big stretch for an arrangement. Very cool, and the gulf b/t speed-metal guitar and acoustic guitar doesn't seem so far.
Sonic--Love it. Not my kind of music in the least, but it builds, repeats, and shifts beautifully.

Still listening...

Smurfco--Kind of an American Sabbath feel. The chord progression over the chorus/b-part is very cool.
rsadasiv--real drums? Cool, sparse, a little clunky in a funky good way.
HIAR--great sound. There's a lot of room in that arrangement for a full band.
Gary (Still Alive)--I think I hear synths in there, but it's still a really rich, organic sound. 12 string?
