I used to think so too - before I got this. It’s now my most versatile guitar:

The bridge pickup is the only bucker. The neck pickup is a P90.

Anyhow, I think it would suit me very well. Looks like it has a versatile selection of tones, and I like the trem.

Nope - the neck HB sounds fantastic alone or with the middle SC and the bridge rails give a much more rocking tone.
