Help! Warmoth Build, WTF?

To answer Chad and Mark, I like my Tele neck.
@jelloman That's a possibility. What time frame do you have available? I should have time from about 4:30pm eastern to 6pm eastern. Gotta leave to pick my daughter up from gymnastics by 6. After that my wife will be coming home from a work trip so I will be unavailable.
If that doesn't work we can do another day/time. I'm not in a rush. And thanks!

I would figure out two things before you make a call...they can make recommendations but the more vague you are, the harder it'll be for them
1. How much you want to spend
2. narrow down to a body style

Something like this but with just the bridge pickup would be awesome. I would prefer a side mounted jack if that's even possible. I just don't vibe with face jacks.

I'm not too worried that I'll venture out of my budget based on what I want. That picture I just posted is really a lot like what I'm imagining if I go Jaguar shape. Which, after seeing that, I want to.

What is your budget?

I'd give them a call and explain you're looking for a mahog Jag w/ single bridge P90 w/ TOM bridge, no control plate, back/bottom route control cavity for two knobs and side body jack....that's pretty far outside their standard jag configs

All told (body, neck, pickup and everything else) I'm budgeting $1500. I could just buy the guitar in that picture for $650 but what fun would that be? I want it to be my one of a kind custom.
I just priced their jag body (top route was only option) in a look I liked at $410. I can't imagine a neck and pickup is going to break my budget.

:gah: I haaaaaaaaate the standard thin. I swear it is within millimeters of the wizard thin! :barf:

I really like the 59 carve but the last two, I got the fat back (basically no thinning or taper, just big fat C). Then I sanded them down until one matched my thorn and the other matched my DGT neck.

Think about how much smaller my hands are than yours :grin:

although the neck on my new SG is pretty beefy and I’m really getting used to it.
 
Any further builds I do will all have asym profiles. They are my jam.

The USACG asym on my JM is my perfect profile.
 
If you want a neck that doesn't need finishing, but roasted maple is too bright, my Warmoth Cabronita has a solid rosewood neck. One caveat: Fresh rosewood stinks for a couple of weeks and makes your hands smell.

Standard thin is very close to the music man neck. I was playing my neighbors MM the other day and it felt just like my Tele. The MM has a tiny bit more depth to the neck, but very close.
