He's obviously just trying to get clicks, to get noticed. It's more of a popularity sport, music is just the vehicle to that end. This also includes the vast majority of guitar shred for shreds sake type of playing. I find it interesting only if the music has genuinely beautiful, or is at least different .
Score interpretation has limits. Actually I don't even think he's playing that at all, not that it even matters at this point.
You know what, he might as well just take the score, put it on the floor, & film himself taking a giant shit on it. It's the same result.
The main thing it shows me, is that there's this bizarre guitar subculture, where music & refined technique does not matter at all. The point is totally & completely missed. & If you were to point out what they are missing out on, you would probably get shouted down, because it's the internet, & there probably about a million idiots out there who think that this is the best stuff in the world.
