What to do with tequila?

I was gifted a bottle by my brother in law from the distillery he works at.

It seems like quite a nice bottle bit I cannot drink tequila after a stupid drinking game as a student - if I can smell or taste it in the slightest, I won't drink it.

Big ask but can you think of any cocktail recipes (or even food) using tequila that
I could use it for?

Weve got rum, vodka, tonnes of gin and whisky and a bunch of other liquers so I'm thinking long island ice teas but I'm up for anything else.

Once something comes out of my nose, I lose my taste for it. Southern Comfort, Red Mountain Burgundy and Sloe Gin are on my list.

Yeah, every tine I drive past the local land fill I smell that stuff and have horrid flashbacks. I'm not even sure I won the drinking game :embarrassed:

This is Agave which according to my cocktail bible is good stuff. It's not making we want to wretch or vomit but it's still not my cup of tea.

IIRC all tequila is supposed to be made from agave, specifically blue agave.

I went through a similar thing I couldn't bear the smell w/o wanting to wretch but after a bunch of years, I tried some quality tequila & other mezcals and I got past that.

This is a little out of left field, but you could soak tampons in it and insert them in the chute.

Tequila, unless it costs more than I'm willing to spend, is vile.
I can't even cook with it anymore. I just hate the smell.

I used to drink my buddies under the table with tequila shots. They agree with me. Bourbon does not.
