When's the last time you ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?

and if your answer is not since forever, what is your go to for when nobody wants to cook, break glass in emergency?

2-3 months ago. I eat a lot peanut butter with apples and bananas.

No cook for me is 6 oz Greek yogurt, 1 oz dry roast peanuts or walnuts, 5 oz frozen blueberries

I eat a PB&J probably once a week. But I add a half scoop of whey protein powder to the PB, and I use a 100% fruit spread.
Another awesome no-cook meal I’ve been doing is plain nonfat Greek yogurt, peanut powder, oats, frozen mixed berries, crushed almonds, and a little drizzle of pure maple syrup.

I go in streaks. I'll go a long time without eating them and then have a couple a day for a week or two then off them again. Most recently I got a sandwich sealer thingy and would premake a bunch and stick them in the freezer. Great snacks.

As far as no-cook, we usually just do some sort of pizza-based dinner :embarrassed:

I prefer a peanut butter, butter, and cheddar cheese sandwich but will not turn down a PBJ as long as it's not some jive-ass Welch's or something similar.

"not some jive-ass Welch's or something similar"

I can't spread Welch's. I sort of cut with a spoon, then put another slice next to that one, then another, then another till the bread is covered.

Are you talking about the 100% fruit spread Micwalt mentioned or much better actual jelly and if so, what are some good brands?

I used to eat PBJ every day for lunch when I worked. Since I haven't been working for a long time I don't eat it as often and there is frequently no jam/jelly that I like in the house. My wife is the main eater of jams and she gets ones that I'm not as keen on (like raspberry with seeds etc). So probably 6 months or so ago.

The go to for a quick meal now is generally a fried egg sandwich

I usually have one a month, last was two weeks ago. I use strawberry preserves on mine. My go-to for non-cook days is fruit, cheese, and crackers.

Mrs. bsman cooks up jellies and preserves out of whatever fruit is in season that we keep in the freezer, but in terms of brands, Bonne Maman is my favorite - particularly their lemon curd.
