Dogue in teh desert
So...I just had a wolf spider land on my head ....I walked outside and felt something on my head, thought a spider web or something so I brushed it and I felt it move :panic: I frantically brushed it again and to my horror was this

the end.

Nasty. They are dirty fuckers. One bit my kid on the stomach when he was 5, and it got infected badly.

A girl I went to school with got bitten on the forehead by a brown recluse. The venom ate away at her forehead for six months before the skin started growing back. She got lucky and didn’t end up with horrible scars.

The best thing about wolf spiders is when you smack one and it creates a cloud of baby spiders that spread all over. :ack:

If that happened to me there is a reasonable chance I would run around screaming like a little girl. I am not a fan of spiders up close and personal. They need to stay in the yard munching bugs and away from me and the house.

I have seen one wolf spider in Colorado. Luckily NOT on me....
