The pickups were freshly installed, but I got the guitar with the Sweetwater Xmas sale when they were selling them for $14 a month with 0% interest for 48 months. I couldn't resist.

The stock pickups are quite good. I contemplated going back to them. But I'm happy with this setup, so I'll just leave it.
