Well, crap!

The fates already f'ked me sideways
I bought this from a pawn shop this morning with the intent of reselling it. It needs a bit of clean up. No big deal. While I was cleaning it, I noticed that the headstock was repaired. Crap. The shop doesn't take returns. I'll end up breaking even or taking a loss when I sell it. I'm not a fan of Flying V's. Maybe I'll teach myself to like it? It really wasn't in my budget. I was planning on selling it to CME to make a quick buck.

I think that breaking even would be the best goal. Might be able to swap it around and get some other stuff that is easier to sell at a profit if you’re willing to deal with gear trader weirdos.

Or you could advertise it as an Authentic Gibson with Authentic Gibson Neck Mod.

I thought about building a headless flying V with barrel tuners in the crotch part of the V.... and then a fake headstock that could dangle from the end of the neck like it's broken off but the strings are still attached. :helper:

Gave me flashbacks of the hockey stick headstock guitar I had a headstock break in behind the floyd lock nut (drill through the neck style). The guitar was still in tune... but the broken headstock was dangling from the lock nut.
