Holy jeez, I'm an idiot.

Duller than cardboard
I had a front row ticket to see David Lindley last night and I honestly thought the show was next week.

Ouch!
The inlaws had a somewhat similar mistake at a theater show here in town. After much arguing with the people who wanted their seats and the staff they realized the tickets they had where for the previous weeks show.

Will someone please remind me that I have tickets to see Ghost next week?

honestly.....i DO feel bad for ya......but it's REALLY difficult NOT to poke fun.....i mean if yer car had trouble, or some other event got in the way, that would be one thing....but to simply FORGET????
sorry.

Three things about that:

1. I couldn't get anyone to go with me. It was the sort of guitar dork concert that makes people who don't know better take a pass. So I was flying solo and therefore had no one to say, "Cool! That show's Saturday night, right?"

2. Print-at-home tickets. It was still just a PDF in My Documents.

3. The aforementioned date.

None of those make it any less stupid, but perhaps more understandable.
