That's not a volume knob from a vintage radio. It's a TV channel selector knob. Because of this transgression, I condemn this guitar.
 
I dunno, if I was a famous guitar player I might rock something like that on stage. I've seen equally as wild of designs played live before.
Would I buy it? Nope.
 
I don't have anything against a Formica covered guitar on principle. It's kind of a cool idea really. I don't even mind the unusual shape. There's just too much going on there. It's trying way too hard.
 
I would assume the maker is trying to show some originality with the body shape. Kudos for doing so, but the shape does nothing for me, and the use of a 60s/early 70s era TV channel selector knob (like the one on the Philco TV we had when I was little) as a volume knob, and the EKO/60s MIJ vego-matic pickup selector buttons doesn't help things. I'll pass on this.
 
if a child gave me this guitar as a gift, and I had to say something nice about it on the spot, I like the soundhole shape and the back of the neck. But I would send that kid to military school.
