I have tried many types of pickups and find that either the standard Tele types or the Danelectro lipstick ones are the only ones that sound right for my songs.

It's funny how people's tastes are so different. When I hear your music, I would say Filtertrons would be the perfect pickup to go with it. If I were playing in your band, I'd grab an old Gretsch and go for it.

Exactly what I was thinking.
 
I really like the two-tone blue and orange-tint with the tortoise guard, and I like filtertrons, so it's a 'yes' from me.
