I am guessing that regular P90s were stock in this guitar; this has aftermarket humbuckers. Put P90s back in it and it's golden .

FWIW, I had the import version some years back, and it was pretty nice.

About 10 years ago, I had a Hamer SATF that was MIK. Nice, well-made guitar, but I could not get comfortable with the wide, flat neck, so I sold it.

There's a lot there to like.
I'd put back the original p90's.

Just remember that Hamer used the vintage 1 5/8's nut spacing. I like that but some people feel it's narrow.
