Framus makes some really great guitars. They are pretty common here in the local stores and are super nice instruments. 6K Euro seems pretty steep to me, especially for a floor model.

Must be referring to the times of Charlemagne. Didn't he control Saxony for a while as part of Franconia?

They moved their factory from Pretzfeld down the road from my wife's home town in Upper Frankonia to a place in Saxony in 1994-95.
