Bruce Springsteen vs Rob Halford

I have an abiding love for Priest, but there's something undeniably great about a lot of Springsteen's old songs.

I'll have some blue-collar New Jersey desolation then. The leather and spiky studs gig is generally not my cup of tea.

Halford roughs up The Boss with the studs and the match is stopped because of the bleeding.

Judas Priest gets kudos for choosing a Dylan reference as their name, but my interest ends there.

The Boss, man!

If you haven't seen the Springsteen on Broadway on Netflix, you should check it out. It is an excellent show.

Good shout. I never got round to watching it but I love Bruce when he does stuff like that. I dunno if it's still going but he was doing a great radio show during lockdown.

I will choose Rob Halford for sentimental reasons.
I do like 'The Boss'.

P.S. Maybe Judas Priest will make the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame this year now that John Sykes is the new chairman? Ooops. Wrong John.

I can recognize The Boss as a great songwriter. But I have no desire to listen to his music. Halford, OTOH, is great gym music.

Always found Bruce Springsteen’s music and lyrics borderline cringe-worthy.

Priest is cheesy and over the top, but at least it’s great fun

so Rob it is
