that would be sexy... but i've already got a white guard with a rosewood board... here's what i started with btw, this was my first paint job...

i used all Valspar rattle can paint...Valspar white primer, Valspar Metals Metallic Copper, Valspar clear gloss enamel... i sanded the primer coat with 400 grit, shot the entire can of copper on (not all at once), shot the whole can of clear on and wet sanded each coat with 400 grit and 1500 grit, then the last coat with just 1500 grit... finished it off with some mcguires ultimate compound... it would be a whole lot more glossy if i had a DA buffer... ma' frickin' armg got tired as hell...
 
i should add that i'd like to thank jelloman and Elias Graves for all the great advice in this project so far...
 
thanks bud... ten56gibby over at HC hit me up about painting a jag/jazz master hybrid for him... i told him that i wasn't confident enough to work on anyone elses yet... we'll see hoe the Peavey Raptor turns out:cheese:
